Bushfires

We’ve been fairly quiet on the social media front in the last week, as like everyone we’ve felt overwhelmed and devastated about the crisis our country is in. None of our usual content seems worth posting at the moment given the context of the current events around Australia; however like many businesses and individuals we want to do what small part we can to help both our wildlife and farmers rebuild 🐨🌲 There are so many worthy causes out there to donate to, but collectively Evervet has decided to contribute to 2 main organizations: @zoosvictoria Bushfire Emergency Wildlife Fund, which provides emergency vet care and will support habitat restoration and long term care for animals impacted and displaced; and @vicfarmers Victorian Farmers Federation Disaster Relief Fund, which is coordinating the feeding and agistment of affected livestock.
.
Over the next few weeks many of our staff will be donating their time or annual leave at work, and Evervet will be matching their contributions 🐾 πŸ€— We will also be hosting a meet up event at Orrong Park on Thursday the 23rd of Jan, with food and beverages supplied by local businesses and handmade gifts for sale. Look out for more details to come!
.
Thank you in advance for your help, we are looking forward to our Evervet community helping us help our beautiful country and animals. β€οΈπŸΈπŸ¦‹πŸ‚πŸŒΏπŸ¦˜πŸŒΌ Look out for a newsletter article in your inbox coming up with some more info about these organizations and the incredible work they are doing.
